They have seeds of brown.
Their petals are gold.
They are splendidly round.
Their stems are verdant green.
They are sunflowers.
The sun blesses them with the color of her beam.
The sun grants them the higher stem.
The rain will never drown these flowers...
But she will kiss them!
The sunflowers peek in your window.
They smile all the time.
When the world seems sorrowful,
They brilliantly shine.
The sunflowers stems are strong,
Not whispy and frail.
A sunflower never feels,
inability,
Or the possibility of fail.
The crows may peck,
the crows may steal.
But the sunflowers stand taller than most,
and still feel:
Stronger than any other flower.
They do not tremble to the winds,
or bow to the thunder shower.
The sunflowers
are something you should admire...
Watch them grow so strong.
Watch them develop higher.
Think of the sunflowers beauty,
And strength,
When you feel you might fall down.
Remember how this flower,
with its seeds so brown,
its petals so gold,
Will always stand tall,
and so very, very bold!
