I wanted to write you a poem
to express my love for you
but now that I sit here trying to let go of all the words Ive been wanting to say
My muse has gone away.
No words will come that do justice to your bravery.
No words will speak of how much I love you.
No words will scream my loyalty to you...
At least not like I want them to.

And if you know me as well as I hope you do
you know that a loss of words is not something I experience often.

But somehow the thought of you wipes all the phrases from my tongue and all coherent thought from my mind.
All the stress of today is gone
All the hurt of yesterday is healed
All the uncertainty of tomorrow wiped away

I know this poem is no good
I know its form is shit
But I hope you know now that no words will match my love for you.
