I harassed him all in fun,
I'd say, "My love you are the one"
"Will you be my valentine?"
that's not all, I'm not done.
I did it because I loved him
and I thought that he was cute,
but if I were around him
I would probably go mute.
I wouldn't be able to talk
with so much fear inside,
he's still a stranger to me
from him I'd rather hide.
Hate has caught the moment,
I do not like him or his ways,
he is now my enemy, an evil man,
past love for him was just a phase.
I knew him from the past,
he would tell me rotten lies,
I remember all his awful deeds,
now I love it when he cries.
Author notes
I feel your anger and I can understand deceit in so many ways. I see deceit in the people that I once trusted. Deceit is out there and so is hate as a result.

A revengeful end. Very emotional write but a little too stand offish and less on imagery I feel. But a personal and intriguing piece.

Good
This is a very well structured poem with a solid point to make. A stinging review of love gone bad. Good story, good poem. It flows well and holds your interest from start to finish. This poem comes alive within the reader's heart as the story unfolds gently before them.
