Cupids Arrow

Cupid shot his arrow

It landed straight in my butt

See when it comes down to love

I'm always out of luck

Too many times has his arrow

Splintered in my behind

I swear that bloody cupid

Sends me looser's every time

 

I'm going to take cupids arrow

And shove it right up his backside

Just to see how much he likes it

Being taken for a ride

I'll twist that splintered arrow

O so very hard

Let him feel my pain and bitterness

Of how much his arrow scarred

 

Cupid needs to know his arrow

Is a big pain in the bum

I'd rather be lonely and single

Than with an arrow loaded with scum

So next time I see that cupid

I will let my anger seethe

Just to show that stupid cupid

How much his arrow has killed me

    Okay first, love the picture. That's priceless.
    Second, love the poem. That's absolutely brilliant. Rhyming is great, flow is wonderful and you can't flaw the humour...or the logic. I mean who the heck does Cupid think he is; running around shooting people with arrows and not getting charged with aggravated assault. What kind of world are we living in?
    Anyhoo...before I completely go off the deep end I will bookmark your poem and wish you good luck in the contest
