I’ve met lots of folks on allpoetry
and some have come to mean a lot to me
There’s a most special one I’ve found to be
honest, sweet, kind and at times very funny
She makes my day sometimes on here
with her good heartedness and keen ear
For so many poets in need of good cheer
she’s advisor and helper, always near
She’s all a friend could need and love
some guidance and sometimes a little shove
But we're here for each other, below and above
coming in on the wings of a Dove

This is a very sweet tribute to your friend. AP has been the birthplace of many long lasting, strong friendships. People who may never have met before, have connected on such a personal level.

I first met Dove in some contest she held. I was in one of those weird moods of mind and was acting out, doing more Yem than Ima...id that makes sense. She played along and gave back as good as she got,which was cool...

She's such a fun person to interact with... we've had some funny back and forth IM within the group and she always makes us laugh. Here's a poem I wrote for one of our contests one time about one of those fun IM sessions, If you read the author note on that poem it'll sorta explain
