What The Heart Is In Need Of

It is not in knowledge alone,
but also in understanding.

It is not in "a time for,"
but in an assurance beyond all time.

It is not just in asking,
but an awareness of having received !

It is not only in repentance,
but also knowing one has been pardoned.

It is not in searching for the Holy,
but in having invited Him from within.

It is not in feeling unworthy,
but in accepting His Grace's fullness

It is not only in loving Christ Jesus,
but in fully welcoming him in your life.

This is a write to touch hearts. Having cancer...nope won't do the chemo to my docs rantings, I can see stars in your eyes and heart which brings tears to mine. Though my belief system is somewhat diff than yours, I shall add you to my prayers, wishes and dreams. Be strong and never forget you are important through all you suffer. I applaud your ability to write no matter what. rose

    don't touch it!

ahh, So true, and thats a good way to stop and see what we have inside ourselves to simply say 'what do i have that is good? and what do i have that is bad and how can i change it?'

    excellent writing

I am religious and spiritual. It's nice to see people voice their beliefs but not try to rub it off on others. Good lyrical quality as well

Wow, that's beautiful. All the knowledge in the world won't do us any good if we don't know what to do with it. (of course this is divine, it's a holy poem) :)
    Thanks, LP
