Outsmarted

He walked confidently through the crowd,

with a mischievious smirk and evil on his mind.

He followed me through the darkest alley ways,

waiting for the opportuned time to make his move.

Not knowing that I had already done,

all that he had set out to do that day.

He tried so hard to engage me in a conversation,

only to steal all that I had worked so hard for.

His mannerisms and body language told me this,

so I moved in as he walked away and stole his life.

That's a brilliant take on the prompt. I don't know how accurate this quote acctually is because I got it from a website. But I knew it was close. This is very well penned! I absolutely adore it.
