Snow flurries fall upon the window
As the wipers move to this beat
A blissful surrounding of mountains
The sound of nature so calm and sweet
Dew still lies within the grass
Roads hidden under a blanket of snow
The first to create this path
Driving for pleasure with nowhere to go
Sun is peaking over the mountain top
As the light expands across this place
Stepping out of the car to appreciate
Letting the flurries fall onto my face
The air is cold as the wind blows
My hair swaying to the sound
Birds chirping to greet the new day
Peaceful beauty all around
Creatures of all kinds awake to the light
Bidding the moon goodbye
Darkness lessening more with every ray
As the doves begin to fly
Witnessing awakening of life
No human present here but me
Flowers fighting against the snow
Indescribable what I see
Life I've never seen before
Carrying their young across the street
Quail mother leading gracefully
As a chick stops to bathe at my feet
A doe nudges at her young
The fawn stands as his ears begin to twitch
Putting my hands beneath the snow
The soil here's so rich
Headlights throwing off this balance
Nature scurries behind the trees
Driving by without a second look
The road is all he sees
Concerned with only his destination
As the world around slowly dies
There's so much beauty around us
If we only open our eyes

Distraction from beauty.
Its the old shell game.
So few realize how they are cheating themselves.
How so much passes us by.
We are driving around with coffee cups on the roofs of our cars cause we don't know if were coming or going.
To appreciate something you have to stop and observe it.
This is what I did with this soothing piece of art that came from your soul.
The beauty of this did not go unappreciated.
MANY MANY BLESSINGS GYPSY,
