One can of spam only every 4 seconds, we'll have to do something about that!!!
"Sometimes my name won't come to me
But ask me garbage and you'll see
I'm the king of triviality."
Well if your the King, then I'm the Queen of useless information, a character I've inherited from my father, and I too struggle to remember my own name, and I'm totally useless with everyone else's, in fact I've forgotten yours, it is Michael, isn't it?

hehe...reminds me of the joke about the man having dinner at his friend's house and he notices that his friend always uses terms of endearment towards his wife..thank you, honey..more coffee, sweetheart?...it's wonderful, darling. He is so impressed he tells his friend it's really wonderful that, after 60 years of marriage, he still uses such endearing terms when speaking to his wife. His friend then tells him that, actually, he forgot her name over ten years ago but he's afraid to tell her!!!
Yes, it's Michael

I'll tell you a secret, I was on my third date with my now husband before I realized his name was Justin, not Jason, and only because my mother told me!

This is wonderful! I know a guy like this, except it's movies. It is so amusing cause it rings true for a lot of people. Very cool.

This was great! Knew some of the facts, but some were new, but regardless, this was simply so well written. Truly, you have a gift! Thanks for sharing!

Fabulous!!/f
My head is still reeling with so much information! I enjoyed this piece tremendously. It's like a tiny coffee table book of facts, quite useful to initiate and prolong conversation. It may also help in getting rid of button-holing bores and could be a good way to show off! I am going to bookmark this poem.

Fantastic. Never knew that about snails, and the stuff about the ex-wife ... hehe, I was going to do that gag but you beat me to it. I know snails are hermaphrodite, so they can make love to themselves if they get bored. Which, at a rate of once a lifetime, is probably rather often. I was actually quite proud that I knew at least half a dozen of these facts. Never knew goldfish in the dark: I'm gonna have to try that. Not cruel, is it?
Cheers for this little gem

Hey! Some of those trivialities, are not so trivial you know. I am perplexed by the fact that most hawiian words are so long that I wonder how they got by with only twelve letters.

Well, Michael, this is just a hoot! Where on earth you dug up all this crap from is beyond me, but I swear I'm not the least bit surprised that you did. Your mind is an archive, my friend, a wealth of useless information that both amuses and delights! You are indeed the king....the king of triviality AND the king of poetry! Thanks for sharing this plethora of wisdom with those of us who are quite incapable of remembering probably even one of these little gems by tomorrow! LOL! And how the hell you got all of this to rhyme is a mystery to me! Awesome write, as always! Hugs and love you!

What a memory you have .. even with the itty bitty swiss cheese portions that lie here and there! lol Heck, I can't even remember the punch lines to jokes, and i surely want to! I get halfway through the joke and can't remember the rest. You have a plethora of information - but did you know the Pilgrims didn't land at Plymouth Rock? Fitting for the season, I thought.. lol
Nice job, but then it always is.

Yet another masterpiece!
Well, my friend, you have utterly amazed me once again. This is one of the most wildly creative poems I've ever read and it gave me the best laugh I think I've ever had on this site, especially the line -
"It's true the snail will only mate just once in its whole life
(Which still makes it promiscuous compared to my ex-wife!)"
You are a one-man party.

. Not only was this a pleasure to read, but I learned veeery interesting things.

for you, my King! *Di*

And this is one of the reasons you are so endearing! Facts slip by me, without even pausing to say hello! I would love to be able to dazzle..or bore...LOL the world to death with bits of knowledge. Alas...I am left to only bore them.
This was absolutely great Michael! I loved every trivial moment of it!
Hugs.. and a kiss!
