Sad Angel

Sweet golden angel
weeping ruby tears

For her love that now disappeared
in the depths of everlasting purgatory
where not even her pure ivory wings,
slowly incinerating from the inside,
could reach her lovers scorched bony hands

So she leaves crying forever as he is to be staked for his crime
of loving his precious angel

Who will never leave his remains
Lying forgotten in living stone

    I definately love it that you have used the word 'ruby' in this one Most would choose for the biggest cliché ever and that's 'crimson', but you totally worked your way around that great!

    Another great addition to the contest, I think Mojave is going to have such a difficult time judging this one with all the competition. The message in your take was so powerful and beautiful. Well done and good luck.
