There's a magical kind of feeling;
in the still rivulet I see my reflection.
She stares back as I dream to be her.
Fantasy overtakes me for a moment
hoping the feign world will last forever,
but the brevity of imagination devitalized my spirit,
and I fell in the precipitous water.
And I fell in the precipitous water,
but the brevity of imagination devitalized my spirit.
Hoping the feign world will last forever
fantasy overtakes me for a moment.
She stares back as I dream to be her.
In the still rivulet I see my reflection.
There's a magical kind of feeling.

Nice!
I wish I really could let fantasy take over. At least your wonderful poem helped me to do so if only for a minute. Thanks for sharing.

"but the brevity of imagination devitalized my spirit,"
Oh, I do love that line very much. I liked the way we are looking in looking out as your pivot point describes in this piece. Good job with the prompt and form.
I am quite pleased with this entry. Thank you so much. ~Pamela
