love tunes

the day I
met you-

I must have
been the happiest
girl in the world.

you with
curly hair
& me with
mine,

along with
brown eyes
& crazy jokes.

&

out of
backseat tunes
from leather
seats,

we shared
halfway glances
over love tunes

&

amongst
jokes & laughs
maybe I realized

I love you.

[funny-
it’s been only
two days with
you.]

dang-
I miss you
already.

Another beautiful one, it's so awesome, with the smallest things seeming the most important...
    Great work, and good luck!

this poem had me blushing. The first sentence set the tone for a good love poem. I love how you make such insignificant comparisons but somehow, they seem to matter. I do that quite a lot too.

and yes, love is a funny thing. Two days it may seem but still, your heart felt a little lighter. Though it feels a bit droopy again, so what? those two days still came. Beautiful poem. Best of luck in the contest hon!

    P.S. updates.

    love,
    transit
