There's an empty space in her rib cage,
Where here heart once laid it's beat so sweet.
And there's an tear falling down her flushed cheek,
Where once their eyes always met.
Together forever engraved on the branch of a tree,
Where they once shared their very first kiss.
And a heart engraved into the side of her ankle,
Once she once began to stop and reminisce.
Dirty sheets thrown in the garbage outside,
Once they loved them with their sinful regrets.
Shameful glances across a crowded classroom,
Once they tried with loving eyes to forget.
One final kiss upon a scarred heart,
Where everything was easier with a frown.
A lasting momento of thier love in her eyes,
