A deep blue sky,
opening a window
to a shattered soul.
Endless seas
of hidden emotions
behind a solid wall.
Weary to exhale,
composure dissipates
and releases truth.
Helplessness overwhelms
so small and weak,
stand alone.
Pick up the pieces
of a broken heart,
he doesn't know.
Chaos fills the inside,
conflict ascends,
calm surrender surfaces.
Blink once, twice,
stare into the distance
longing for answers.
Independence prevails
back on two feet,
stand strong.

Beautiful beyond words... I like this poem a lot, the emotions and depth of it... I love the wording, it fits so very perfectly with each emotion you flashed along with them. It's difficult to stand strong when bad things keep happening in life, but one should never forget to do their best to be strong. That's one of the most important things in this life, because without strength we can't get anywhere. That's the first thing that popped into my mind when I read this piece. We all need to be strong.
