Debated Love

They glare at each other,
Smiling all the while,
Banter shooting back and forth.
Good thing they don't have guns,
Else their words would be lethal.

But their gazes are locked -
They both relish the challenge,
Passion building between them,
Stoking fires for their roses.

Suddenly they're close together,
No room even for a Hallmark Card,
Lip to lip,
Poison words swallowed by an eager kiss.

They back away,
Smile...

And then they're back to throwing daggers.

Hehehehe...This one is EPIC!!! I absolutely love it. Comical yet serious all at the same time. This is perhaps my all-time favorite.
