When the sky falls,
and walls crumble down
around me, nothing
matters, so long as
you are by my side.
When darkness puts out
the sun, and chaos
strips away all light,
I do not care, so long
as you stand with me.
When the stars no longer
shine, and diamonds
are tarnished with sins
of humankind, I will
hold you tightly to me.
When hope is lost, faded
into oblivion, I will
catch your tears in my
hands and kiss your pain
away, even if it kills me.
For this love lasts until
the end of days, and I
would give you my last
breath, if it meant that
you would emerge unscathed.
After the apocalypse,
destruction of this
world, if all I have
is you, then I am
fortunate indeed.

This is so so so beautiful! Taking the theme of the end of the world and bringing us such a beautiful love story... I have to say, I was waiting for a lot different take of the picture, and I'm happy to see that you took it further with such a saddened yet beautiful story. I love the wording, I love the flow and the story itself. It starts with the end of the world and ends with love that will go on forever... If you ask me, this is exactly what a love poem should be like! Beautiful, beautiful work with this one! Definately among my favorite love poems!
