Bacterial Virus of Cupid?

Bacterial Virus or Cupid?

Now we seem to be a havin’ a little problem here-
Can’t tell if we have a virus or have we been hit with Cupids arrow.
Could be that arrow of Cupids is unsanitary.
Now you all know I do try to help.
Like when you lost yourself and I told you to go look in the dryer.
Now you do have to agree, not many people will tell you
where to look when you’ve lost yourself.
Okay now here we go.
Lets see if we can differentiate from
a virus or is it that little guy with the unsanitary arrows
called Cupid.
When Cupid hits us with that arrow we have this burning desire deep down inside.
Could be we have heartburn, now don’t laugh that could be
the problem.
When we are in love, we smile and laugh at the little things in life, a great happiness we feel inside.
When that arrow breaks before it hits,
we cry in deep sorrow and moan and groan until our throat is sore-
In the end we wind up with a severe headache.
Now tell me-
How do we know if that arrow was a headin’ in our direction?
Could be that bacterial virus was a comin' our way.
You have to admit they sound alike.
Heartache, headache and sore throat.
See what I mean?
When we have a bacterial virus we stay in bed for days.
You’re on your honeymoon
and
If you’re a payin’ close attention, I think you’ll get my drift.
Bacterial virus or Cupid.
Now they say it takes two to make love bloom-
Well I’m not so sure, lets have a look see.
Cupid, you and the third party.
Now with the virus-
Bacterial Virus and you.
Well I sure do hope I have been a help.
Can you tell what you have ?
A Bacterial Virus or has Cupid hit you with his unsanitary arrows.
Hugs

    Fun Read!

Reminds me, in a humorous way. of one of my aunts. She always said I was coming down with a virus when I was unusually happy ( the love in bloom part) of a bit on the blue side (the germy arrow syndrome). It's a fun reminder not to take ourselves too seriously, whichever bug we're bitten by. Thanks!

Like the loose, conversational tone. Well done!
