    I agree, full heartedly. Stagnation is an achievement of those that don't. There is a fine line though, I tend to shoot WAY past my fingertips and become stagnant as well. heh I'd rather shoot high than not try at all.

    The words here are so true. People need to stretch to succeed. Or as I once told my students. "You want it so bad you can taste it." Sadly very few understood.

    Thanks for the critique. It brightened my day. Your poem is the poetic form of my mania. The belief that I can succeed and that I will succeed. Aspire, set goals, and share your dreams. If you fail or you fall; pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and dream again. Lines 1 and 2 sum it up beautifully.

    Isn't this the truth? Don't we all strive for bigger goals, and they are just out of reach. Nice imagery here. When we dream of higher goals, we are in charge of our thoughts. Lovely take on the prompt. Thank you for entering my contest!
