Sometimes when you sleep,
I climb upon your

s
And scramble up your jaw.
But you don't notice.
One foot pads a shadow step.
One hand catches a tiden angle.
And I am left breathless -
the sheer enervation of siren skin.
Sometimes when you sleep,
I pretend to kiss myself into you.
I step through your flesh -
the length between stars.
the speed of moon-bled time.
the perfect skip of eyelashes.
Sometimes when you sleep,
I hold my breath.
And shimmy it up your neck,
Traversing the still plains
of knit salt and love bite.
Sometimes when you sleep,
I sleep too...
but, only, sometimes.

absolutely gorgeous & delicious.
This reminds me of a song (sorry to go totally away from your poem and talk about something else) but Sing Me To Sleep by Chad Vangaalen has your vibe downn girl.
Anyways this is amazing. Your words climb and grow and twist around me its like sleep is sparkling all around and I can feel your air washing down me. Such a cool feel you have made with this.
I love watching people sleep, its kinda magical? Like they are in this trance and you can watch them like so vulnerable and observe them.
This like radiates with lust & I like that so much. Very personal, you're like sliding under their skin & I get to watch =P. So cool!
"I step through your flesh
into something more -
the length between stars."
I really started getting into it at this part. It was like...stepping into a science museum with neon lights and constellations on glass floors its like climbing inside a planet. I just really felt the spacey vibe and it rocked. Just when you explained like how...it was like this expanse inside him. I totally feel that, imagining how much there is to explore inside a person.
"Sometimes when you sleep,
I hold my breath.
And let it shimmy up your neck,"
I loved that! Just like chilly puffs of candied air like licking the neck and leaving pebbled trails of sugar, so delicious!
"knit salt and love bite."
gaaah I want to be you! so jealuos of this its so artsy and yumm<3.
Your ending was bliss too, like perfect statement leaving me on a cloud. Such a dreamlike write, I love your feelings they flow all over. awesome.
xoxo♥

Your image about the science museum is TOTALLY spot on. I am a bit of a science geek and science museum exhibits in terms of planetary phenomena, etc. intruige me beyond belief. The pure ideological image of a planetarium is infinitely beautiful to me - and I am overjoyed that you caught on to that milieu.
