I'm living in a crazy world
but I am comfortable here
where I pretend
I am living and breathing
in places of incomprehensible beauty
in places as dark as Hell
On this planet of mine
the kings are truly poor
and only children long for bed
My feet are invisible
I see floating cars
and everyone seems content
In this world of you and I
we can be happy anytime
wearing a mask like wearing shoes
There are no broken bones
no broken hearts
only dreams of me and you
If this is my life
in this crazy world
then I am happier here
than I ever was in reality

Nice take on the prompt. Well done with the imagery. I felt the appearance of this fell a little flat, but you made up with it for your freedom of expression. Nice job, and best of luck in the contest

This is very interesting. I like the theme and how you depict a dream-like world where you live. The part:
wearing a mask like wearing shoes
There are no broken bones
no broken hearts
only dreams of me and you
I liked that a lot. The imagery is great and I love how you make it rhyme through and through. Wearing a mask is like wearing shoes... brilliant. like we all do every day of our lives. Awesome job!
