Master, when you look down upon us
Do you see your earthly children?
Do you see us basking in the sunlight?
You see us down here
You see us, sickly children
Us, imperfect children
Us, fallen children
Us, lost and beaten down children
Waiting to stand up
Waiting to be free
When you look upon us, Master
From your throne
You remember us children
You remember us always
Even when we are bad
And when we strayed
When we destroyed our home
And hurt all the things you
Told us to look after
Take care of
Be in dominion over
We got careless, Master
But you remind us all
the time that you are there
You remind us by having the sun rise
Everyday
And give everyone rain
Master, when you look down upon us
You tell us all the time that
You are watching
You are here
And that you have not forgotten us
Some of us have forgotten you
Some were absent that day in class
when you
Said that you are here
Others always remember
Your beloved rainbow children have not forgotten
We hear you call to us
And tell us which way to go
We are out in the schoolyard
telling the other children
That you are here
That you Father, have not left us out in the cold
There will be time to come back home
You tell us all the time
How you’re making a way for us
That one day very soon we
Will be once again
Healthy and perfect
And free
And together
The perfect human family
And not warring with each other
Like we are now
Soon we’ll at peace
And not killing each other
like we are now
And we’ll have our own food
That we planted
With our own hands
And live in our own house
That we built
With
Our own hands
And nobody will take that away from us
And there in that new place
New earth
Under Master’s new rule
We will stand on our
Porch and look out
And we’ll see coming up the road
Someone we haven’t
Seen in decades
Because this person was asleep
In death
And this one got renewed life
Just like us
And they are coming to our home
And we will have overwhelming excitement
In us
And we can not wait to wrap
our arms around them
And welcome them into our home
And tell them all the good things they missed
When they were away
Because after all, they were only sleeping
Only deeply sleeping
Deeply sleeping in the dust
For dust we and dust we have returned
We earthly dusty children
I remember
You are
Master,
And
Father
Who showed us love first
And taught how
To love
For you are
The one who is and has come to be
Alpha and Omega
The one who is Sovereign
And Creator
God and Jehovah
Always because
You Father, shine upon us your light
When you look down upon us, Master
Watching your earthly children
