what is it we call this
this heart of darkness
there's nothing about it
that we can lay claim to
within ourselves or
is there

according to those rules
ones that we never see
but always conform to
without even knowing
what they are

those unnatural
constrictions
that bind us
so tightly
without
us ever
knowing
it

which
we can
never really
hold on to
yet want to
so badly
since it's

natural

thats what
we want
just to
escape
from
it

can escape these
boundaries that
they impose on us
those of us who can
should help those
of us who can't
since they
don't even
see their
bindings
we need
to show
them
all
of
it

evolve
back into
the natural
being we never
were allowed to be
so is it more of a
devolution instead
reverting to that
which we know is right,
and not what
they think is
so find out
which side
of their
societal
fence
you
are
on
