Faith Hope And Love

Crimson sky rain down from above,
silouettes of hope, faith and love.
Upon the cross three lives taken,
God's words in the world forsaken.

Here stands forgiveness on the hill,
crucified for their own free will.
Jesus hung in between two thieves,
hands nailed for all He believes.

In His death love of God was shown,
that day seeds of hope being sown.
Faith endured with very last breath,
forgave them all as He met death.

Could I do what He did for me,
upon that hill near Calvary?
To be brave, not afraid to die,
to have such faith, no not I.

A crown of thorns upon His head,
third day He arose from the dead.
Faith, hope and love would survive,
hallelujah He was alive.

Author notes

And in human form He obediently humbled Himself even futher by dying a criminal's death on the cross. Philippians 2:8
