The ocean smiled and said goodbye
to the sun, as the great orb
sank into the sea.
Casting out out brilliant hues
that turned the sky into bright jewels,
the sun confessed to me...
"My rising and setting creates
each day and then the night.
I give this space to thee."
"The measurement of my life
is held in your bright face?
Ah yes, I believe I see!"
The sunsets in my days
hold me softly, as the sun
slips in the sea,
and says,
"Good night."
