Oh My God! What Have I done???
Last year when I came to ski
on these grand alpine snowfields
I gave some lavender seeds
to a beautiful local girl
to plant in her garden
only now they have spread so rapidly
across these vast slopes
that we will never ski Mont Blanc again
as it's become Mont Lavender.
