Tornado

An angry wind the wheat does blow,
bending stalks with powerful breath.
Light sucked from the clouds, sent below
to highlight upheavel and death.

Wrapped in a tube is fury's grace,

madness, sinister form does rake

the fields, tearing earth's very face,

shaking all till the heavens quake.

No hiding place from such power.

No sound above the wind is heard.

Small animals find safe bower,

swept from sky is every bird.

Raging, raging, a tantrum thrown,

quiets only when last breath blown.

Hi, I like this, althou in tetra meter it cannot be called a true sonnet, some no doubt will argue this, lol,I feel this could become a wonderful sonnet in iambic pentameter with just a little work, you still have a bit of time to edit, that is of course if you so wish, all the best,Di
