Sinking feeling
As fairies fade
Wishing to be higher, faster
Crying as I wade
Shoulder deep in waters
That should rightfully cover my head

This really is what short poems should be like; filled depth and beautiful words that don't need anything more added to them. Such a sad, yet beautiful poem you have here, showing the emotions so clearly. This goes so deep and tells so many things, depending how you read it, that it just made me stop and think for a while. To me it portrayed the hard times we have in life, when we just try and keep our heads above the water. They are hard times but we all have them, I guess.
