Bad Bush

I can accept we all make mistakes
but I wont stand for bad bush.

I will abide by the rules you make
but I wont stand for bad bush.

Bad coffee is forgivable.
Bad service is punishable.
Bad moods are human
but I wont stand for bad bush.

I will apply myself for the better good.
I wont stand for bad bush.

I will assert and be understood.
I wont stand for bad bush.

Bad bush smells rotten,
like fish in the sun.
Bad bush makes me queasy,
cheesy, greasy, and uneasy.

I will confront all that is fake
and I wont stand for bad bush.

I will defend for common man's sake
and I wont stand for bad bush.

Bad bush is offensive, defective and ineffective.
Watch closely from a different perspective:
Become objective, protective and effective.
Reflective introspective.

Unfortunately, until it hit their pocketbooks most Americans were too afraid to pull their heads out of the sand and see him for what he is... a demagog who's the antithisis of what our founding fathers dreamed of... Well done and thank you for your entry.

This is excellent, a good point well made. I too am extremely anti-bush, i think everyone in Britain generally is, as are most Americans i know. I work with an American who left because of Bush.

I have this nightmare that when the new president is sworn in, he/she is gonna rip their face off and it's gonna be Goerge Bush and he's gonna go "fooled ya, you got me for four more years!".

But a great poem, well wrote, and nice rythm. Good luck in your contest.
