The sun,
A bright golden orb
Suspended in the sky
Scattering rays of luminescence
Bringing a sparkle to
Everything they touch,
Transforming the ordinary
Into a twilight
Fantasy world
Dark creatures
Stretching forth across the ground
Reaching out to
Catch passersby unawares.

    Great imagery!

    Good sensory detail that creates visuals in the reader's mind. I like the "dark creatures/stretching forth across the ground"...I could well imagine shadows reaching out with velvety hands to grab those passersby.
