The magician snapped his fingers and the chains snapped
and hell's three headed dog was free.
The magician vanished as he threw a stick
the 3 heads agreed and followed.
corridor after corridor out of the hells and
through the lower heavens the monster followed
the stick.
All the way into the ruined paradiso,
where the stick vanished.
and the directionless monster could wreak havoc
on the world that vain beings call asssets.
Watching the three-headed and directionless dog
the magician remembered just why
Cerebrus is one the coolest of the monsters.
Ruin and the charmed hexes
taught the vain creatures how to live.
Yet the question remained about how to rechain
the beast of havoc
without being cruel to such a funny yet sorrowful
being.
Poor monster no master and unable to pick a direction.
perhaps leaving it free was the answer to all the questions.
The magician pondered the beasts fate
knowing he could never destroy something so interesting
and crazy.

Unique!
Indeed it appears that the monster is interesting and unpredictable. In this tale though, it appears that freedom is its own prison...interesting twist. Thank you for your entry and good luck in the contest.
