Clearly Breathing

The city lights are all on now

and I'm lightly dancing to the beat of you,

as a single song sees me through

Naked thoughts from an open mind slip away,

moving to my heart they stay

Keeping pace with this rhythm reminds me

how no one ever did see me so transparently

as you and the air tonight…
