Oh God
I know that
why are you not revealing your
substantial face
as you belong to me
you belong to him
you belong to everyone
and we all are lingering to
betoken you
In the dissimilar images
while you belongs to
the one and only one singular image
Oh God...
I know that
why are you not revealing your
substantial face
as you belong to me
you belong to him
you belong to everyone
and we all are lingering to
betoken you
In the dissimilar images
while you belongs to
the one and only one singular image
Oh God...

BUT OUR THOUGHTS ARE THE SAME, PERHAPS WRITTEN DIFFERENTLY BUT WITH THE SAME MEANING, THE SAME PASSION, THE SAME LOVE, HUMANITY IS INDEED CONNECTED TO THE SPIRIT, ONE SPIRIT THAT IS WHO WE TRULEY ARE, WE ARE ONE WITH THE SPIRIT.EXCELLENT POETIC GENIUS.GOD BLESS

I....am not a religious person, but I can appreciate true spirituality when I see it. I kind of like your word choice, it seems so smooth, I mean your poem can be described by one of your words: lingering. It sort of flows out, and stays with you long after being read. Interesting way of beginnign and ending your poem. At first, it's as if you are addressing God, then at the end, its as if you are beseeching him. How marvelous.

I have one word for this...a word I have only recently learned...'Om'...a near equivalent, from my own faith, would be 'Amen'...the tolerance and peace of Indian spirituality is so rich in your words...a flavor of Khalil Gibran enhanced through your own...Well done. Best of luck in the contest. Peace, Rhonda
