it comes from above to us down below.
What is it? you guessed it’s a blanket of snow
Sometimes it’s welcome, often it’s not
Especially when it comes down quite a lot.
It’s a great landscape painter when it comes overnight,
but only one colour, it can only do white.
Children just love it, as they slide to and fro,
but for elderly people it’s simply no go.
For those who are artistic it makes a wonderful scene.
It substutes white oer' a landscape of green.
And when it’s all melted and gone down the drain,
We can look forward to some summer sunshine again.

What a pleasant read. I like the way you contrast those who love it with those who don't...the pros and cons of snow. Your words brought many images to mind as I read it. It rhymes well and flows.

YAY! nice flow, beautiful rhyme, personally, I despise snow with a passion, just thinking about it makes me cold...but I love the way you've written about it.
Thanks for sharing this, and for taking the time to enter my contest,
Luck. -
