The kingdom of the sea is that of the sky
Partitioned by the horizon's regal sigh
Upon them sail tears with ripped flag waving high
Who set it loose upon our sea?
Mine question is an answer for thee.
As the sky turned black
Thine eyes rested upon me
As if I were everything to see.
Unhorned buffaloes graze in fields unseen
An uninfluenced desire is a waking dream
Virgin to all the wrongs that could have been.
Snadman of blood make no sound
Our waists are entwined as if bound.
As the sky turned black
I asked for what could not be asked
And you gave the only existing answer.
Bats equally blind to night and day
See naught and have even less to say
As they are so made we were made to be this way
Though I cannot claim to read time
So in the here and now I'll cherish you whilst you are mine.
As the sky turned black
Grim faces peered through the celestial window
As if to say "Love, feel and mourn."

Beautiful language that you used.
Bravo.
Good luck.

I loved this. It's been a long time since I've seen someone make good use of almost Shakespearean language like that. Reading this was like traveling back in time - that raw, untamed darkness yet to be contaminated by would-be-emo-kids and their teenage angst. Beautiful.
