A beaming light for all to see,

she sees straight to the soul of me.

Befriending me with all her might,

for all to see, a beaming light.

Partners in crime, we have our fun,

planning capers, can’t be outdone.

She writes all styles, I try to rhyme,

I like my beer, she likes her wine,

Friendship that never sheds a tear,

    oh I love this! It's so sweet, and I love how you say that you may be different on some points, but you still get on really well. Isn't that just how it's suppose to be? Good job!

    I like the style of this, too...the first and last line of each stanza repeating each other but in reverse. Is there a name for this style? I'd like to try it sometime. ('cept in the last stanza should it be catz instead of cats in the first line?)

      Sure thing sis, use it anywhere you want, it is my present to you all yours... and yes I call this form tetra rhyme twist, it is so fun to write. a bit of a challenge to get the twist part right but worth it I think.
