Little girls
with ringlet curls,
white lace socks,
and patent leather shoes.
Look so sweet,
dress so neat,
hiding inside
life's black and blues.
They trusted their kin
as he fondled them,
and smiled in the parents faces.
The girls grew older,
life got colder,
from these haunting memory traces.
Promiscuity is not innate,
it's for sure a learned trait.
Called; "fast-tail gals"
at a youthful age,
deep in their core
they are hiding their rage.
Secret well kept
while their mom and dad slept,
he'd sneak into their room.
Under the covers was not safe enough
to keep them from their doom.
Now, they are all grown,
and cannot love,
for he destroyed their trust.
They wish they had never been born.
So-called friends named them; "Sisters Lust".
It wasn't their fault,
he should have been caught,
he invaded them many times.
They wonder today
what people would say
if someone discovered his crimes.

I can only pray that you are able to speak this without feeling you have to suffer anymore. You were innocent and you have no reason to carry this shame or guilt any longer in your life. Thank you for entering this contest. May you began your path to healing with a quick recovery on all levels of your spirit. Neither of you are at fault. Don't allow this person to make you feel one bit of guilt or shame any longer. You WILL help others with your words. May you always remember that.
God bless you for speaking out and standing strong.
Much Love & Many Blessings~
~Joy
