Fantasy Novel

I want a fantasy novel
a real beefy guy
from six foot and more
and no roaming eye

I want him to be real sexy
and full of reckless fire
one that can light the match
and never sway or tire

I want him to be “other”
the not human kind
I would like to experience that
like destinies entwined

I want him to have a cool name
one that is spelled strange
I want him to fight the urges
that makes him want to exchange

I want him to make my heart race
and then make me his queen
Dark and dangerous
the highlighted scene

I want the love of eternity
with pages always turning
I want my eyes to burn
from all of his yearning

I really liked this and I think that everyone's perception of the perfect guy is different. You had fun with this piece as do your readers ~ what is sad about this piece???? I am confused????

Very strange and definently like a fantasy novel. Couldn't help thinking of old women as the old folk's home my grandmother lived in once was stocked with cheap erotic novels. Pretty sad...

    Thanks for entering.

      Respectively,

I'm not sure how to take this...either it's "pretty sad" that I have set an unattainable goal or that it's "pretty sad" that my ideal husband isn't worth it. Yet I have written what "I feel" is my ideal husband. I never once thought that my personal views would come under review as well as the actual write.

I was referring to the erotic novels in the old folks home, not your poem.

          I Apologize,

that I mistook your intentions. I hope that I have not offended you.

Although referring to the retirement home and their erotic novels, I say good for them, for I'm sure their energy is not what it used to be pertaining to actual performance and those novels are their only escape to something they very much used to enjoy or missed somehow in their life.

Just showing a different way to look at the situation.

Again, please accept my sincerest sorry.

          Gypsie
