I have tread upon rocky shores;
climbed mountains past and present.
I'm certain to scale many more,
but my heart is never absent.
The view that lay ahead,
though not always perfectly clear;
encouraged to hear what the heart has said
and live this life without any fear.
Not everything is a pretty rainbow,
and I'll watch as the sun fades away.
But tomorrow it will rise again and show
the beauty of a brand new day.
And one more time, I'll climb to the top
to reach the ultimate of my goals.
Treading through life, I will not stop
breaking the horizons of my soul.
