Maybe it’s all my hopes, but maybe it’s all my fears.
Maybe that’s the reason why you’re just not here.
You’re defiantly not the best, but unfair to say the worst.
You can’t be the one that saves me, but could you lift up the curse?
Maybe I will try but never really see.
Maybe this is why I never knew you nor knew me.
Maybe it’s just life, or maybe it’s just faith.
Maybe this is love, or an undeveloped form of hate.
Like a eagle flies through the sky
And gets tired of being high.
That’s exactly the same way I just let love pass me by.
Like a fish that’s swimming free,
never answers to the land.
That’s the same way I cannot deal with
what I refuse to understand.
Because I don’t know how you love,
I don’t know why you smile.
I don’t know if you’re staying
or just tarrying for a while.
I don’t know your intentions,
neither do I know your cause.
I don’t know I you love me,
taking in also all my flaws.
Well maybe I’m just sceptical, or I just can’t take the pain.
Maybe I no longer want to be a pawn of love’s twisted game.
Maybe I’m just scared, call me a coward if you may.
But guarding my heart is a lesson I am keeping until this day.
So you can say all that you want, you can do all that you please.
But nothing you will tell me could ever put my heart at ease.
But if God tells me that you’re true and He tells me not to fear.
Then for sure I will know that for me you will always be here.
If you look into my eyes and God speaks into my heart.
I know for sure this is something that won’t be torn apart.
That’s how it will go, that’s how it might be.
I don’t know for sure, just….Maybe

It was just soemhting I was thinking of and I'm constantly thinking of when it comes to love...Not that I am neccisarily in love. But I tsill wonder =D
