on final dreaming

`

Your wings wither
into the screaming daylight
of my closed eyes,

afloat and on final dreaming,
moon renders a half note of promise --

'God given: all butterflies go to heaven'.

aww...this is sad and beautiful, it makes me feel that moment of missing someone; the stinging perhaps under the eyes when crying..and wanting to know/knowing they are okay.

    beautiful imagery...
