Treasured one, will you not look upon what I have bought you?
Such luxuries even the Pharaohs could not have seen
Can you not behold the prize that I offer you?
You will sit on this pedestal in the name of love
This crystal shrine is yours alone
Unmatchable in beauty and in subtly grace
Unsurpassed and unparalleled, do you not appreciate
This treasure that is your world?
Be free, sweet darling, and explore your universe
Discover those smooth, delicate walls
No need to thank me, precious heart
But you do anyways, and rise to the surface
Belly up

The last stanza of this poem is the one I like the best of this - though the first two aren't bad at all either

I had a little laugh with your teacup thingie
lol
Thank you for entering the contest - I wish you the very best!

Very interesting. I like the story you weave. This seems to kind of jump out at you with all the alliteration and hyperbole. Well done. Although, I didn't really get how it related to the Ray Caesar contest. But, to each his(or her) own. Good luck in the contest. Cheers.

Huh- and now that I look even closer, it seems that it is a teacup. Well then. My bad...
