Frayed With Time

Dress of love and lace
fragile, frayed with time.
A wedding day long time passed
binding love of  butterfly hearts.
Something old, something borrowed.
Family heirloom
of a grandmother’s love.

    Hoodwink!

The first two lines are excellent, and set up the poem beautifully. The next several lines tell the beginning of a sweet--maybe even a bit sad--story . . . perhaps grandmother has given her blessing from heaven . . .
