Dress of love and lace
fragile, frayed with time.
A wedding day long time passed
binding love of butterfly hearts.
Something old, something borrowed.
Family heirloom
of a grandmother’s love.

I like the photo with this one and
"I really like these two lines,"A wedding day long time passed
binding love of butterfly hearts." good write

Hoodwink!
The first two lines are excellent, and set up the poem beautifully. The next several lines tell the beginning of a sweet--maybe even a bit sad--story . . . perhaps grandmother has given her blessing from heaven . . .
