From the embers
there's a scene
a musical box dancing queen
dressed in a silver shroud
she draw's in a big crowd
the music is mellow
with a soft sound
and her beauty is pure
flick-erring delight
as she dance's through
the silver light

Awww- very pretty, lovely images. I kept thinking of the song when I read the title

Good poem! Thanks for entering the contest! -
Well this wasn't bad... it had a nice rhyme scheme but I really think it could have been a little deeper with more imagery and such... more metaphor maybe...? Anyways I did like it, thank you for entering.
