Theres a drug to cure it all
The goverment has it under its control
Not just anyone gets to use it
Only the sleezy politics have access
They see it as almighty
As one that will help them save america
Yet they fall victim to its power
They become corrupt and mislead
Slowly it eats away at them
to where it has them its grasp
under its every whim and idea
Bestowed upon itself by volenteers
Created to help the country
Ending up destryoing it
A nessasary part of everyday life
Yet not enough of it
Supply and demand
The way the world turns
Fuels this hatred
This power of corruption
The Country is dying
Setting the Pace is Money
The corruption of all men
Who come to Bow down to it in the end.

So true
Its when they take our hard earned money and toss it out to all the countries around as a bribe instead of putting into our country to keep it strong . I know a lot of college people that their common sence you couldnt fill a thimble with yet they know those books forward and backward .But without common sence you might as well elect pee wee herman

I like the metaphorical way you used to show how corrupt politicians (or most) actually are. Very strong words you used here, and they cling to the reader's eyes!
Keep it up!

I like that it's about corruption... but it isn't portrayed as corruption, but as a disease, a virus eating away at the politicians and leaders. Loved it. Good luck in the contest!
