with nothing to show me
with nothing to say
words disguising hands of steel
that fail to heal, to pleasure my pain
An eternal game of hide and seek
of peek-a-boo
you tend to peek
to find the strong and make them weak
almost as broken as you
Hey Little Man, pretty face full of lies
two hands to hide tear drops
an endless disguise
made of anger and hate
a fountain of flattered fatality
Trying to feel on top of the world
instead of the last one in line
You'll learn that my fists aren't too petty
& wit wins the battle of minds.
When you slice at the skin of the surgeon.
Author notes
Prompt: I was watching something on tv the other day about men abusing their girlfriends. The men thought women were below them and that we diserve no respect. I am tired of hearing this from men. Sexest (sp?) people like that make me sick. I want to hear what you have to say. Write me a poem.
Psh. People like that are trying to break us down to see what is inside when the truth is everyone sees right through them and we know they are just pathetic children stuck in the body of adults with no where to go & no one to go to. HOWEVER, when I say "man" I mean men AND women who treat people that way because I DISPISE that only men get looked at as if they are horrible when many women beat their men and no one even pays attention or tries to help them just because they are male! >.<

Just to clerafy something I KNOW that alot of women beat their spouces. But I guess I didn't make it clear enough that this contest is also based on womens rights. Women still don't get payed as much as men, or get the same respect. And after all that some of us have to go home just to get hit. Thats the idea I was trying to put in your head. But I didn't make it clear enough lol. But this poem is great. Thank you for entering my contest and good luck!!!
