Ever Thought About It?

Have you ever...

S ecretly wished that you could rush out into the white abyss of nothingness
with nothing to shield over your freezing, flaking flesh?

U sed a blaze upon the empty will of your life just to see it die
in its red and orange flaming glory while your screams paint the walls?

I magined yourself binding the deadly noose
at the bone rattling crackle of thunder
to forever fall into the darkness of lightning?

C reated the little caverns upon your thin surface
and dared to thrust the silver moonlight blade
deep within your shivering, tortured, suffering body?

I njected into your veins the harsh sweetness of death
to finally feel the restless aching within your heart, cease?

D reamt you were at the bottom of that great beyond without air
with the light above the blotchy surface as your last sight?

E ndured the pressure of pulling back that long trigger
and release the dark reaper of the night into your brain?

Author notes

Suicide, the delicate art from which churning blood, dripping sweat and soaking tears resides within. I have to give my thanks to my friends and family for being here for me, without whom, I wouldn't be here today.

Wow that is fucking interesting to use the word suicide....Get emotion from it.....understand it will reach out to others as well. This is a great poem of how our emotions play in suicide. Thank you for letting me read this.

Wow, this is really different. I love how it spells suicide. That's very creative. I was wondering why the letters were spaced, but then read it. Great job. There are some spelling errors. You can really feel the pain and emotion in this poem. Excellent imagery. Good job

this is a great poem i really like it... its cool how you made it say suicide along the side and my favorite part would have to be "created the little caverns upon your thin surface and dared to thrust the silver moonlight blade deep within your shivering, tortured, suffering body?" well thank you for entering in my contest and i enjoyed reading this
