It is I
the muse…
I have returned
once again…
This time, I return with a message
to those who have been able
to understand my other messages,
and others yet to hear them…
As usual, I know not its source…
The message is as follows:
For a time little will change…
Yet, as always,
things within this world shall change…
Those of you who can hear this message
may not yet know who you are…
Yet the power to change this world positively,
is in your hands…
Yet others now know
who you are…
It shall not be easy…
For those who do not wish
this positive change,
will also fight…
They will fight you…
And try and make you give up…
Look forth to the Divine,
in whatever form you choose…
For remember,
all paths which are for good,
are the ONE path…
For all have the same destination…
If we do not fight,
dark days shall follow…
Days filled with loss of rights
both personal and civil…
For there is a power
growing in the East…
These followers do not follow the words
of their prophet,
for they have either
interpreted them incorrectly…
Or worse, ignore them completely…
His words did not promote
the subjugation of women…
Yet, what is seen,
is far worse than that…
In fact, most of them
see us as infidels…
They have an opportunity
set before them, now…
For if he is elected,
we will no longer be the infidels…
We’ll be subject to them…
It is I,
the muse…
I shall return…

The sun behind the clouds wallpaper that this poem is written on is very appropriate for the subject matter. Kudos! I did not see any picture included with this poem.
The poem itself is a solid write that causes the reader to pause and rethink their place in the grand scheme of things. My favorite passage was:
"Look forth to the Divine,
In whatever form you choose
For remember,
All paths which are for good
Are the ONE path
For all have the same destination…"
This is a very good observation.
One suggestion for improvement that I would have for this poem is to paint the picture for the reader in both the worst case scenario and the best. I think this would provide the one-two punch for this already strong write.

love it
it was so great... -
good
The future though filled with despair is held out for our scrutiny and we are forced to witness our own pearl as it approaches with the turning tides of gobble terrorism at the hands of religious zealots. Your mind set flows onto the page and we can relate with you and where your words lead us. The author is trying to awaken us from our apathy and calls for vigilance.
