A light shone through and I opened my eyes
I'll never forget what I saw
The top of the staircase of all of our live
And that's when I started to fall
We tumble down the years in pain
I'll never see magic in life again
People wander in and out through doors
Can't go back and can barely go forward

This is unfinished. It's supposed to use a staircase as a metaphor for life. Hopefully you figured that out anyway, but just making sure. I'll probably add more in the future.
