Pierce it, I say
put it on display.
When they ask why
answer with a sigh!
Author notes
I am using this as opportunity to speak out on the practice of multiple body piercings; An all too popular obsession, to call attention, a pitiful cry for help and self-loathing.

Sulfane,
I did not know about your piercing, or I would not have entered this piece, which you probably found personally insulting. That was not my intent. I was generalizing-not personally attacking anyone.
Note: I do have 2 tattooes-one on each arm-one for my late wife, after the fact, and one for my present wife, before we tied the knot. I don't plan on any more tattooes, wives, or having to grow another arm!

Not offended at all - just didn't believe your reasons as my own - we all have different reasons for this piercings and tattoos [which I have a few].
So not offended
I judge it as it is,
Even if I was offended, personal views shouldn't interfere. I apprieciate your view, even if I don't agree.

this has a riveting turn from the photo to our lives. a wrong experiment is felt in the pic and your piece. You don't beat around the bush either from what can be too much toying with "answer with a sigh!" when explaining what some pricking just does -- around ears that don't go up ~
you met it with a metaphor for what must be on your mind for the forceful quick note of it.
writhing writing,
