His cold breath on my neck, a gentle touch on my hands. I whirl in the cold night air to see who's haunting me.
The bright full moon lightens his face with cold mysterious features. Pale, glowing skin, the blackest hair, and
black brooding eyes.
He leans down towards my face, with sweet, cold breath he whispers, slowly.
I've been waiting for you, my love.
Trembling with slight fear, and with the occuring wonder, I gaze into your eyes. Who are you?
I want to whisper fervently. I lean against the railing with you hand lingering on my
cheek. Do not be afraid. He whispers.
He smiles, and the moonlight shines on his glisteaning teeth. His smile, sweet as honey. With lips soft as cotton.
His fingers trace circle upon circle on my jaw. My skin burns under his touch, as if I had been
licked by a flame, but there is no pain. He turns to walk away.
Wait, I whisper to the night.
For no one is there. Don't leave me, I cry. I run down the pier, towards the land.
He sits, with his smile, with open arms.
I long for his warm embrace, and run to him.
My dark stranger. My dark lover.
